Notes from the 2025 Campaign Trail: Ballot Access & the Race for Lieutenant Governor
The Race for Lieutenant Governor Launched this Weekend in Northern Virginia.
This is the first post in a series of ongoing reflections and observations from Virginia’s 2025 elections, where voters will elect a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, 100 Members of the House of Delegates, and numerous down-ballot local officials.
Pursuant to Article VII, Section I of the Plan of Organization for the Republican Party of Virginia (RPV), political committees (like the Arlington GOP, for which I am the Chairman) do not endorse candidates in multi-candidate Republican nominating contests, so I’m writing these observations in my personal capacity only.
