About Matthew Hurtt

Matthew Hurtt is the Director of Professional Services at the Leadership Institute, where he coordinates the efforts to engage conservative activists and connect them with training, employment, and movement resources. He has more than 15 years of experience in fundraising, organizing, writing, and public speaking for conservative and libertarian causes and candidates.

Hurtt oversees the career programs and training, the conservativejobs.com platform, and the intern program at Leadership Institute.

He also frequently shares his expertise with activists, professionals, and students as a guest speaker at conferences, in the boardroom, and in the classroom. Hurtt is passionate about promoting prosperity and opportunity through policies that advance liberty and limited government.

He has trained tens of thousands of activists across the country and abroad, and has raised millions of dollars for clients and organizations. Hurtt is also involved in national Republican politics, serving as an at-large delegate to the Republican National Conventions and as a special assistant to Virginia's Republican National Committeeman.
